Mahindra Launches XUV 7XO; Prices Start at ₹13.66 Lakh

Mahindra has officially launched the XUV 7XO, the comprehensive facelift of its popular XUV700, with introductory prices starting at an aggressive ₹13.66 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new SUV open on January 14 for a token amount of ₹21,000, with the introductory offer valid for the first 40,000 customers.

The XUV 7XO sports a refreshed exterior identity, featuring a new grille, redesigned headlamps with projectors, reworked bumpers, and distinctive LED taillights inspired by the brand’s electric XEV 9S concept. A new set of alloy wheels completes the updated look.

Inside, the cabin receives a significant upgrade, particularly in the top AX7L variant. It introduces a premium ‘Lumina and chestnut brown’ theme, a new two-spoke steering wheel, and a triple-screen dashboard setup with optional rear-seat screens. High-end features include a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, an electric ‘boss mode’ front passenger seat, rear sun blinds, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and advanced AdrenoX connected car technology. The SUV also boasts a comprehensive ADAS suite and a five-star BNCAP safety rating, supported by seven airbags, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability control.

Power comes from familiar yet potent engines: a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol (197bhp/380Nm) and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel (182bhp/450Nm). Both can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The XUV 7XO is offered in a wide array of configurations across six main variants—AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T, and AX7L—in both 6- and 7-seater layouts. While the petrol manual starts at ₹13.66 lakh, the diesel range begins at ₹14.96 lakh. Prices for the fully-loaded automatic variants extend up to ₹24.11 lakh for the diesel AX7L, positioning the 7XO as a feature-rich contender in the highly competitive premium SUV segment.
